AUGUST 2008
In connection with the work on the Michelangelo project, financed by the European Commission under the Lifelong long Learning programme – sub-programme Comenius, contract number: 134318-LLP-1-20071-IT-Comenius, the consortium has already activated the project portal, which is accessible at http://michelangelo.pixel-online.org/. The partnership is ready with its selection and detailed presentation of the selected most prominent artists/artworks for the last 10 centuries in the partner countries.

DECEMBER 2007
On 14 December 2007 in Vidinwill take place a closing event under the eTalent project, organized by the Municipality of Novo selo with the support and under the patronage of the newly elected mayor – Mr. Georgi Stoenelov.
The purpose of this seminar will be for the elaborated database and strategy for continuation to be presented before the local target groups and a consultation between project partners and the beneficiaries to take place.

As of December 2007 Zinev Art Technologies starts work under the successful Comenius LLP project “Michelangelo: Unlocking European Fine Art”, initiated, developed and lead by Pixel, Italy /www.pixel-online.net/.

NOVEMBER 2007
On 25 November 2007 the electronic database of e-learning contents, solutions, materials and service providers has been completed and is now freely available online at the project web-site: www.e-talent.eu. After you enter the web-site, go to the image circled in red. Bulgarian is among the database languages.

          

SEPTEMBER 2007
Events in Vidin and Pazardjik

           
      

On Sept 11 in the building of the district administration in Vidin, and then on Sept 12 in Pazardjik, the partners under project “ETALENT: Valorization of eLearning projects results focused on the effects of ICT application and innovation introduction on youth talent development” project, co-financed by the eLearning program of the EU, lead by the Municipality of Novo selo, organized and conducted follow up seminars, the purpose of which was to valorise successful projects under the eLearning programme and other EC programme /Minerva, FP6/ before representatives of the schools from the region of Vidin and Pazardjik, representatives of the regional education and training NGOs, regional and national media, regional educational inspectorates. About 100 target group representatives took part in the two seminars in Vidin and Pazardjik. Strong interest towards possibilities for transfer of innovation was expressed.

JULY 2007
The documentary on the eTalent project is now finalized. The film will be presented officially during the forthcoming seminars in Vidin and Pazardjik and will be disseminated together with the informational and promotional booklet, which will be ready by mid August.
In order to request a copy of the film on DVD, do not hesitate to contact the project coordinator – the Municipality of Novo selo, or partner organization ZAT.

JUNE 2007
On June 12 in Dessau, Germany, in the building of the local branch of DAA, was organized and conducted a follow up seminar for presenting the selected successful projects within the framework of eTalent before the German target groups.

                 

On June 15 in Cagliari, Italy, in hotel „Caesar’s”, was organized and conducted a follow up seminar for presenting the selected successful projects within the framework of eTalent before the Italian target groups.

APRIL 2007
On April 2-3 2007 in hotel «Rodina» in Sofia the partners under the „eTalent: Valorization of eLearning projects results focused on the effects of ICT application and innovation introduction on youth talent development” project, implemented with the support of the eLearning programme of the European Union, conducted a Valorization conference, in which took part representatives of all partner organizations, guests presenting successful projects under the eLearning programme and other EU programmes /Minerva, FP6/, representatives of schools from all over Bulgaria /Sofia region, Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Kardjali, Rousse, Silistra region/, NGOs, regional and national media, regional educational inspectorates.

The projects , which were presented on April 2 during the conference, are as follows:

On behalf of the Bulgarian schools, 144 High school «National leaders», Sofia presented their good practices in the development and implementation of innovative projects stimulating the talent of the students.
Presented was also the INFORMATIONAL BULLETIN of the NATIONAL INSTITUTE ON EDUCATION issued by Foundation “Minyu Balkanski” as well as educational activities of the Foundation.
On April 3 took place an open discussion aimed at problem /need – solution finding and matching. The flow of questions, proposals and ideas coming on both sides – from the schools’ representatives and from the projects presenters demonstrated to all participants how useful the conducted event has been and how many opportunities for collaboration between potential school beneficiaries and EU project implementers exist.
The partners under the eTalent project would like to thank all those who responded positively to our invitation to join the activities under our project and the conference itself. JANUARY 2007
As of January 2007 Zinev Art Technologies Ltd. started its work as a partner under the project „eTALENT: Valorization of eLearning projects results focused on the effects of ICT application and innovation introduction on youth talent development”, co-financed by the EU under the eLearning program, contract number 2006-4504/001-001 ELE ELEB 14. Under this project will be elaborated an analysis of the level at which the schools in the three partner countries – Bulgaria, Italy and Germany – are applying ICT and introducing innovations in the teaching process for the purpose of stimulating the students’ talents. A valorization conference is also going to be conducted for the purpose of presenting successful projects implemented under the eLearning program. A database will be elaborated with the products created under these projects, good practices, case studies and all other kinds of information, which could be useful for stimulating the students’ talents.
The project duration is 12 months and will be finalized at the end of December 2007.

DECEMBER 2006
Zinev Art Technologies Ltd. developed the successful “eTALENT” project under the eLearning programme of the European Union. ZAT is partner to the leading organization – Novo Selo Municipality – together with DAA Braunschweig from Germany /www.daa-braunschweig.de/ and Esode Srl. from Italy /www.esode.it/.
The implementation of the project will take place from January till December of 2007.
News and information on the project will be published regularly on the partners’ web-sites.
ZAT is the official representative of Esode Srl. in the deployment of the SWAPIE project – the first social educational network for university students from all over the world. ZAT and Esode are at present at the initial test phase of deployment of SWAPIE. SWAPIE will provide the following services to university/college students after registration:
- the ability to search for relevant educational material throughout the databases of all participating universities /the SWAPIE search engine will be indexing all digital documents published on the web-sites of the partner universities/ as well as through the database of documents uploaded by other SWAPIE users;
- the ability to upload their own profiles – with friends, study groups, personal favorites and forums, as well as upload educational content in the database of the platform;
- the ability to join study groups and experience the advantages of real-time contact with other on-line users, interact and exchange opinions and materials;
- the ability to spend high-quality time on-line having fun and communicating with peers from all over the world.
