The objective of the conference is to promote the sharing of good practice and transnational cooperation in the field of innovation for Science Education. The conference is also an excellent opportunity for the presentation of previous and current projects in the field of science.

◊ From 21 till 23 September 2010 a ZAT expert will take part in a partnership meeting under the ISHEDS project, supported under the TEMPUS IV programme, in relation with the running external evaluation, which has been assigned by the project promoter Swansea University, UK to ZAT. The meeting is about to take place in Croatia.
◊ From 21 till 25 September 2010 ZAT representatives will take part in the fourth and last project meeting under the REVIT project as well as the conference, which is going to take place during the same time in the island of Ios, Greece.
◊ In the period 1-12 September 2010 ZAT expert Zornitsa Staneva is going to visit local action groups from the territory of the region of Sardinia, Italy with the teams of the future local action groups for the territories of the municipalities of Radnevo and Kostinbrod.
The meetings will have the purpose of presenting the excellent experiences of Italian LAG, which have functioned at least during the LEADER+ phase of the programme and have approved strategies for the period 2007-2013, when the LEADER approach becomes an integrated part of the national and, as is the case with Italy, regional rural development policies.
◊ In the period 7-10 July 2010 a ZAT in a workshop meeting under the ISHEDS project, supported under the TEMPUS IV programme, in relation with the running external evaluation, which has been assigned to ZAT. The workshop is about to take place in London, UK.
◊ In the period 5-8 May 2010 a ZAT representative took part in the third partnership meeting under the REVIT project, organized in Palaichori, Cyprus.

◊ As of April 2010 ZAT has become main consultant of the municipality of Radnevo in the process of formation of a local action group under the LEADER approach for its territory.
The activities, which the ZAT team is about to implement in relation with the contract under the project “Acquisition of skills and achieving local social animation on the territory of the municipality of Radnevo for the establishment of a local action group”, RD 50-368/28.12.2009, are as follows:
- conducting 3 three-day trainings for local leaders;
- development of a common database with interested parties under the project;
- evaluation of the potential for business and economic development on the territory;
- conducting an assessment of the training needs;
- conducting a training for the project team;
- elaboration of an analysis of the social and economic condition of the territory.
◊ On March 4-5 Zinev Art Technologies is going to host the third partnership meeting under the OnAir project. The meeting will be attended by representatives of all partner organization and will tackle questions regarding the results achieved and the forthcoming project activities and anticipated results. The meeting will take place in hotel “Sveta Sofia”.
◊ On Feb 12 Zinev Art Technologies organizes two work shops for school teachers for presentation of good practices /case studies/ from Bulgaria and all other partner countries under the project on the use of media in school education. During the work shops will also be discussed the future activities and the expected results – the educational paths for writing skills, reading skills, critical thinking skills and choosing skills. The participants in the work shops will receive information packages. They will also be given an opportunity to present their good practices and to share experiences from the possibilities and hardships in applying media in the school education.

◊ Representatives of Zinev Art Technologies took part in the second partnership meeting under the REVIT project, which took place in the town of Kula and was organized and conducted together by Kula Municipality and Zinev Art Technologies which are the BG partners under the project.
◊ During November 2008 started the “On Air: European media education” project, co-funded by the EC under the Lifelong learning programme, sub-programme Comenius, contract number: 142299-LLP-1-2008-1-IT-COMENIUS-CMP.
The main aim of the project is to unify schools at a European level in their efforts to transform the new media from a threat to the students’ literacy into a tool for developing both reading and writing skills as well as the students’ critical approach towards understanding the reality by using information from the medial.

◊ In connection with the Michelangelo Comenius project, which started December 2007 /project number: 134318-LLP-1-20071-IT-Comenius/, oriented towards teachers and students from European schools, which would like to receive knowledge about the brightest art representatives of the last 10 centuries, partner Zinev Art Technologies would like to announce that the contents of the Bulgarian national online art course are already done and published in EN language on the project portal. Its publication in Bulgarian will happen shortly.
The publication of the online training courses on German, Polish, Italian and British art is also about to happen within the next couple of weeks.
During the months to follow, the developed courses will be presented through one-hour online meetings between project partners and interested teachers. These online meetings will be facilitated through the free online conferencing software FlashMeeting.

◊ On 14 December 2007 in Vidin will take place a closing event under the eTalent project, organized by the Municipality of Novo selo with the support and under the patronage of the newly elected mayor – Mr. Georgi Stoenelov.
The purpose of this seminar will be for the elaborated database and strategy for continuation to be presented before the local target groups and a consultation between project partners and the beneficiaries to take place.
◊ As of December 2007 Zinev Art Technologies starts work under the successful Comenius LLP project “Michelangelo: Unlocking European Fine Art”, initiated, developed and lead by Pixel, Italy /www.pixel-online.net/.

Events in Vidin and Pazardjik
◊ On Sept 11 in the building of the district administration in Vidin, and then on Sept 12 in Pazardjik, the partners under project “ETALENT: Valorization of eLearning projects results focused on the effects of ICT application and innovation introduction on youth talent development” project, co-financed by the eLearning program of the EU, lead by the Municipality of Novo selo, organized and conducted follow up seminars, the purpose of which was to valorise successful projects under the eLearning programme and other EC programme /Minerva, FP6/ before representatives of the schools from the region of Vidin and Pazardjik, representatives of the regional education and training NGOs, regional and national media, regional educational inspectorates. About 100 target group representatives took part in the two seminars in Vidin and Pazardjik. Strong interest towards possibilities for transfer of innovation was expressed.
◊ The documentary on the eTalent project is now finalized. The film will be presented officially during the forthcoming seminars in Vidin and Pazardjik and will be disseminated together with the informational and promotional booklet, which will be ready by mid August.

On behalf of the Bulgarian schools, 144 High school «National leaders», Sofia presented their good practices in the development and implementation of innovative projects stimulating the talent of the students.
Presented was also the INFORMATIONAL BULLETIN of the NATIONAL INSTITUTE ON EDUCATION issued by Foundation “Minyu Balkanski” as well as educational activities of the Foundation.
On April 3 took place an open discussion aimed at problem /need – solution finding and matching. The flow of questions, proposals and ideas coming on both sides – from the schools’ representatives and from the projects presenters demonstrated to all participants how useful the conducted event has been and how many opportunities for collaboration between potential school beneficiaries and EU project implementers exist.

◊ As of January 2007 Zinev Art Technologies Ltd. started its work as a partner under the project „eTALENT: Valorization of eLearning projects results focused on the effects of ICT application and innovation introduction on youth talent development”, co-financed by the EU under the eLearning program, contract number 2006-4504/001-001 ELE ELEB 14. Under this project will be elaborated an analysis of the level at which the schools in the three partner countries – Bulgaria, Italy and Germany – are applying ICT and introducing innovations in the teaching process for the purpose of stimulating the students’ talents. A valorization conference is also going to be conducted for the purpose of presenting successful projects implemented under the eLearning program. A database will be elaborated with the products created under these projects, good practices, case studies and all other kinds of information, which could be useful for stimulating the students’ talents.
The project duration is 12 months and will be finalized at the end of December 2007.

◊ ZAT is the official representative of Esode Srl. in the deployment of the SWAPIE project – the first social educational network for university students from all over the world. ZAT and Esode are at present at the initial test phase of deployment of SWAPIE. SWAPIE will provide the following services to university/college students after registration:
- the ability to search for relevant educational material throughout the databases of all participating universities /the SWAPIE search engine will be indexing all digital documents published on the web-sites of the partner universities/ as well as through the database of documents uploaded by other SWAPIE users;
- the ability to upload their own profiles – with friends, study groups, personal favorites and forums, as well as upload educational content in the database of the platform;
- the ability to join study groups and experience the advantages of real-time contact with other on-line users, interact and exchange opinions and materials;
- the ability to spend high-quality time on-line having fun and communicating with peers from all over the world.
